 I remember waay back when watching shows like Speed Racer and Battle Of The Planets. Then when I was in college a friend of mine from the dorm radio station turned me on to bigger scale animated work.

 Masamune Shirow's Dominion brought me back into the fold, and it's still a favorite.

    I liked it a little more then, if only because it was something unusual and different. I'm not a fan of the saturation that's come around the last few years.

    Young lady, when I started, the only thing around WAS videotape! ;P

    I. LOVE. ANIME. I do i do i do! I can draw it too! I remember when I was six my sister pulled out a video tape (yes video tape, not DVD!) of Sailor Moon. The OLD one. From way back when in the day. It was in japanese with horrible quality but I loved it. I don't like much anime now but there are still some good ones out there waiting to be found. But still, I liked the older animes more. I'm not sure why either.
