People Are Weird

I studied anthro at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.  It was called Southwest Texas State back when I went there (graduated in 1999).  I really wasn't sure what I wanted to study when I was in college.  I started out as a business major at Texas A&M but quickly left that school as I did not fit in.  I ended up at SWT and decided to try anthro since I didn't know what else to do.

It was one of the best decisions that I've ever made.  I fell in love with it.  I'm primarily interested in cultural anthro and unsure of what I'd like to specialize in.  I want to go to graduate school but I have other interests (music) and things I want to take care of (debt) before I jump back in.

LOL, that's a great pursuit too :-) Looks like your good at it!

Nice. My mother went to Trent University for Anthropology and archaeology. i eventually got to go on several digs with her professor and whuh, cool stuff. i went to college for stand up comedy though, funny.

Well I think you'll love it if they have a decent program. I wasn't even sure what I was getting into when I decided to become an anthro major but I've never regretted it once. In fact it has been something that I've been quite happy to study ever since.

Wow that is cool. Where are you going to be studying?

That's cool, I minored in sociology...I really want to get my masters in anthro eventually but for now I still want to work on music.
