Crossbowing

I shot a crossbow tonight. Does that count as archery? *No animals were harmed and none will be, btw...EVER...*

I felt like kind of a redneck! lol The thing is a little heavy and scary, actually. All camo'd up. Gun-like with that trigger, and scope....
I think I prefer my bow. I KNOW I prefer my bow.

I missed the target too, dangit.

  The thing is heavy, and feels sort of sinister! :P
  The second time I decided to shoot it, however, on a different day, I bulls-eyed the target from 50 feet! What a rush! Hubby stood there stunned! hahahaha!

In my state only hunters over 70 years old are allowed to use crossbows during archery season....

Who wants to use an old fart archery weapon?
