Ribs

I have finially made decent ribs they were so good, fall off the bone type.

They were pork ribs, the middle cut, not baby back and not the huge ones.  Put them in foil with some lauries salt, worshishre and a honey bbq sauce on them, wrapped them up and put them on a pecan wood smoke about 150 to 200 for 6 hours. 

Talk about good, I also put some chicken breast on there with the same mix and they were good also but may have been better on the grill with italian dressing.

But the ribs were great.  Give it a try.

Question? You wrapped them before you put them to the smoke?

Yea I put them on a foil with an open top so the smoke still gets into it but the foil keeps the heat lower...

What kind a smoker you cooking on?

Was a small little one from Charbroil with the offset fire box from Walmart. It did the job just fine, want to get another one and weld it. It does a great job for the weekender smoker...

Ah, the Charbroils are a liitle hard to control the temps.

If it fits into your budget, a WSM is well worth the money. Once you learn the drafts, you can setit and forget it.
