Help Me Find Some Songs Please.

I just want some songs that I can relate to. When youre feeling down and like everyone and everything is against you. A little help please? I like rock by the way, but anything is welcome.

"Dust in the Wind" by Kansas, "Darkness Darkness" by the Youngbloods, "Oh Thank You Great Spirit" by Chicago, "Inside" by Sanity, "Cinderella Man" by Rush, "There's No Way Out of Here" by David Gilmore, or "Dirt" by Alice in Chains. <br />
If you want to try a little folk: "In China or a Woman's Heart" by Kate Wolf, "Sharp Cutting Wings" by Lucinda williams, "Ludlow Massacre" by Woody Guthrie (based on actual events), or "Wildfire" by Michael Murphy. <br />
If you feel like a little jazz: "Little Girl Blue / When Sunny gets Blue" by Sheena Easton, "End of the World" by Expose, "Against the Odds" by Richard Wright

Whipping Post!

I'll single out a couple of songs. "A Drop in the Ocean" by Ron Pope is amazing, and looking at the comments above I'd have to say "Fall for You" by Secondhand Serenade and "Hide and Seek" By Imogen Heap. Hope that helps! :)

I would listen to some cage the elephant its alternative but makes you feel better if your down or upset. or try 80's music or techno that makes me feel better!

Garbage has a lot of songs relating to this, also Peggy lee(jazz singer from the 40's/50's on) usually cheers me up. It can be a bit corny, but that's part of the fun. Look for "It's a good day", that's one of my favorites.<br />
<br />
I agree with Brighteyedstargazer, too. Imogen heap is awesome.

yeaaa if your into rock try chevelle, their one of my favorite bands.<br />
Also if your looking to try new things i like to listen to alot of soft soothin instrumentals which chill me out. it allows me to free my mind and go into my own lil world and just travel with no interruptions. <br />
<br />
but if your interested i encourage you to try these:<br />
<br />
<br />
Dave MAtthews Band- Crash into me<br />

<br />

<br />
i love findin new music its like a hobby for me

Try Imogen Heap...she's not new tho but she's not very well known. I think her first album was released in 2002 when she was still known under "Frou Frou". <br />
<br />
Imogen is into electronica and trying new ways to make music. When I'm down I listen to her songs and it bouys me up. Its definitely different. Its because she loves what she does. She plays each instrument in her songs by the way :) Try watching her vids in youtube...start with "Just for Now" and "Hide and Seek"<br />
<br />
If you're into Rock...try DIshwalla, esp. their album "Opaline" The songs are a bit sad but melodious. I emote to it when I'm feeling really depressed

When I'm feeling down, I like to listen to songs by Secondhand Serenade, Evanescence (sorry forgot how to spell it) or The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. If you're feeling more angry, I reccomend songs by Atreyu. Lots of screaming.
