Oslo, Norway In 2010!!!!

Unfortunately the UK lost out again but at least in 5th place, our best since Jessica Garlick in 2002, with 173 points.  Jade did the job and the new voting system works as there wasn't as many block voting.

I have to say well done to Alexander Rybak with his own song Fairytale for scooping the highest point score ever in the competition 387 points beating Finland's Lordi's 292 back in 2006.

I can tell you that we're off to Oslo's Telenor Arena next year on Saturday 22 May with Semi Finals 1 & 2 on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th respectively.  Norway, UK, Spain, Germany and France automatically qualify for the final.

What did everyone think of the show this year?  Did the new voting system work well with 50% of televoters and national juries?  Perhaps you think the UK should seperate into four countries or the big four denied automatic entry into the final?  All are welcome

I must admit i thought it was a whole lot better this time around, unlike previous ''eurovision''. And yes i found the new voting system worked very, very well!
