A Truly Great Breakfast Choice...

When you have all the ingredients at hand in your kitchen, french toast can be made in a short amount of time.  Therefor it need not be had only on weekends.  As there are a lot of variations, I would be interested to see other members recipes.

Mine is:  1 egg, 1/4 cup half & half, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, dash of salt.  Mix well.  This will make three moderately soaked or two well soaked pieces.  Fry in butter.  Sprinkle nutmeg and/or cinnamon on the slice while the first side is cooking.
