I Love Visiting Historical Places

Last summer I had the opportunity to spend a few days exploring and learning of the gettysburg history. I had learned about it in school of course but your whole perspective changes when your an adult.  To cover the battleground and see the monuments and to fully understand what a town undersige means. Two weeks ago I spent a weekend in Philadelphia. I can't even begin to explain what it ment to me to walk the streets that Ben Franklin ,John Adams and thomas jefferson had once walked. I visited the constitution building, Independence hall.I also saw the liberty bell, toured Betsy Ross's house and seen where she was buried. I also saw where Ben Franklin was laid to rest. It was exillerating to see all this up close. My next goal is to visit Richmond Virginia!

I want to visit Boston just for the history.

Seconded. I prefer older places, e.g. Rome, Stonehenge, but for short trips I will take what I can get.
