Can't Live Without Horror Movies!

I'm a horror movie fanatic, whether it be classic horror movies or new releases. The more violent, the better. I think I mostly like the psychopathic horror movies (i.e. all of the Friday the 13th movies from the '80's, the original 1974 version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Scream series, just to name a few) and I'm also into the supernatural horror movies as well (all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, all of the Paranormal Activity movies, both the original and the remake of the Amityville Horror, and of course, the Exorcist among others).

Here's a list of some of the classic horror movies that I'm crazy about with the year they came out, not really in chronological order nor is this the order I like them:

1) Cat People (1942)
2) The Alligator People (1959)
3) The Bad Seed (1956)
4) Strait Jacket (1964)
5) Shock Waves (1977)
6) The Mummy (1932)
7) Tales from the Crypt (1972)
8) Vault of Horror (1973)
9) Night of the Living Dead (1968)
10) Psycho (1960)
11) The Terror (1963)
12) Whatever happened to Baby Jane (1962)
13) Whatever happened to Aunt Alice (1969)
14) Sugar Hill (1974, not the one with Wesley Snipes)
15) Evil Dead (1982)
16) The Uninvited (1944, I also like the remake as well)
17) The Birds (1963)
18) Dolores Claiborne (1995)
19) Carrie (1976)
20) Poltergeist (1982)

Of course, this is just a partial list, I could go on and on, and anything with Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, and the ones I had mentioned prior to the list. I will add more soon!

Ya I know. I need gore when it comes to a zombie flick. dark humor in horror flicks works for me too. cheezy ones but gore i need as well.

man you left off some real classics like, the haunting of hill house, The Changeling, Legend of Hell house, The Sentinel etc... LOL. like you I could go on and on.

You're so right about that-it's so many to list it would take a few days lol

I love horror movies as well. I'll have to check out the ones on your list that I haven't already watched.

100% with you

Yes indeed! We could watch them all night! :-))
