Lethologica

I have some to share. Perhaps they're not new to you... but faerie has this uncanny ability to invent words when I have no idea what to call it. Aside from whatchamathing or thingamajig... I usually have a phrase for something, a description to let myself be understood. Then you come across some readings and voila... they actually have names.

Emunction, the act of removing obstructions from or cleaning bodily passages.
And all the time faerie has been helping Mewold purge his orifices.

Tarantism, an urge to overcome melancholy by dancing.
One of the best things to do in life.

Two types of tickling:
Knismesis, the light, feather-like type of tickling. This type of tickling generally does not induce laughter and is often accompanied by an itching sensation.
Gargalesis, the harder, laughter-inducing tickling, and involves the repeated application of high pressure to sensitive areas. This "heavy tickle" is often associated with play and laughter.
*prepares feathers and spiders... flexes fingers* ... you choose!

Sciapodous, having huge feet!
Men would loooove this on their résumé. *falls laughing*

Steotopygic, having a fat behind.
*faerie thinks of NFL players*

Lethologica, the inability to recall a precise word for something.
Obviously, faerie suffers from this. ;p

I'll take the feather for my gargalesis if you don't mind...
FYI - according to the urban dictionary, the word you're looking for is destinesia.

Mich... I've yet to find the word that means coming in a room and forgetting why going in there... until now, it's advancing old age. x p

*whacks Mewold* eeeww... *hoses you off*

Fugly... you're sweet and funny. My username is such. =)
Oh Mary... hate those whatchama-gadgets for cleaning ears. Faerie has phobia with anything to do with the ears. *covers faerie ears*

You are so funny. It's great the have the faerie back! I had to have a nurse clean my ears out once, so I guess I was officially emuncted. That's all I'm going to say about emunction.

Are u referring yourself as 'faerie'? I just don't get u. But love those new words

So that explains why my various orifices are feeling so Emunctionated lately. I hope you give them a sweet kiss when you are finished. Muhahahaha....... Squirt..... Something odd scurries away after the Emunction.....

Trust faerie to come up with the word I was looking for.....lethologica....... and I always thought I was suffering advancing old age...........
