A Sense Of Peace

When I feel especially depressed, like the gut-wrenching, pure sense of agony and hopelessness, sitting outside in the dark and looking up at the night sky is one of the very few things that helps me ignore the depression for a few minutes. For a few blissful minutes, nothing exists except the music playing in my ears and the night sky and the stars in it. It's a sense of peace after a day of the darkest, most pointless hell.
