Childhood Memories

Many people this it is disgusting, but I love marmite. Like a lot of people, I grew up with Marmite. My mum used to eat it and I grew to love it. Probably has a lot to do with our British background. :-)

Favourite way to eat it? On multigrain toast with a thin layer of butter and a thin layer of marmite, with a big, hot mug of milky-sweet tea. Yum!

Herrings in sour cream - now that's not something you run across every day! :-)
Always wanted to try herring, but haven't really had the chance. Is it salty or vinegar-y?
Yeah, our childhood has a lot to do with how our tastes develop in childhood, eh?
(btw - between you and me - used to eat yellow mustard from the packets when I was a kid.) ;-)
