I Like Mma
Sometimes I love the action of the UFC. Currently my favorite fighter is the current light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. I want Jones to fight Silva. I know he'd beat Silva something fierce. Here's why. And it's pretty obvious why. Most people just look at Silva's wins and think that's the only reason why they think he would beat Jones. I'm here to say, that won't happen. Silva had a hard time with Sonnen while Jones did not. People keep saying well Jones couldn't finish Bonnar but Silva could. But Jones dominated Bonnar whereas in both fights Silva did not dominate Sonnen. So now my reason why I know he would beat Silva.
Jon Jones has an unlimited repertoire. His striking is greatly improved. His elbows are deadly. His reach is almost unmatched. His takedown defense is unmatched. Jones can switch up his style, whereas Silva is only limited with his speed and kicks. Silva doesn't have the knockout power with just his strikes alone, although it possibly is the same way with Jon. He probably can go all 5 rounds with Jones but if it goes to a decision, Jones wins. He will overwhelm Silva. Jones just shows fight after fight why he is the best fighter out there. The time of the spider is over. The time of Jon Jones is here. And it's going to be that way for a long time.
Jones' arsenal is hard to read. Yes it is very hard to read. He can throw kicks, he can ground and pound you, he can submit you. He can throw you down. He can also knock you out. He can do everything without you ever expecting it. In his five title defenses, he faced 4 former champs and just showed his skill and talent. Like him or not he would beat Anderson Silva. They need to make this fight happen. This fight would bring the UFC to the forefront of the sporting world. If he had fought when Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell were at the helm of this division he would without a doubt dominate this entire division, like he is now.
He beat Shogun to win the title, he finished Rampage, he finished Machida, he went to a decision with Evans, he submitted Belfort and just recently finished Chael Sonnen. He is almost perfect and really hasn't trailed in a round and if he did, statistically he will rectify it. He has. There's no way shape or form that Silva beats Jones. No way. In all of those opponents he's faced, he's countered, a wrestling attack, a boxing attack and a judo attack etc. so he's seen it all in just his 5 years in the sport. So while age and experience will go to Silva, the outcome of the fight wouldn't be age or experience it would be who is more focused. And that clearly is Jon. Jon Jones is truly the best champion in UFC history.
Prediction: Jones wins by KO in the 4th round. Don't like that prediction, go **** yourself. :)
