Of Course, New Wave Is Infinitely Superior

Of course!!!  I lived in Chicago & came of age in the late 70's.  At that time, if you were going to the dance club, it was either going to be that or Disco (which made me projective vomit--pul-EEEEZE with the handkerchief dresses & ballroom dancing & leisure suits, ugh!).  New wave on the other hand, aaahhhhhh... cooler clothes (still have my fingerless black lace gloves & my little skinny tie & pointy ankle boots....)... waaaaaaaaaay cooler people.  Dancing without a partner was not only accepted, it was uber-cool.  And unlike the disco-duck chicks, we new wave girls didn't care if we had every hair in place!!!  We would dance ourselves into a sweaty frenzy & if our eyeliner smuged & ran, it only made us cooler.  Funny, I continued dancing (but NOT partying) at some of those clubs pretty far into my pregnancy w/ my son.  The loud music & vibration made him dance around in my tummy, and now he's in a band, playing very new-wavish music at some of those same clubs!

That's awesome!! I'm currently 13 and I loved new wave music ever since my papa showed me his new order CD's. After that I began listening to Peter Schilling, Duran Duran, Blondie, Rick spring field, and Devo....etc..
