Paprika Potatoes

My mother turned me on to paprika potatoes when I was a kid. She would cut the potatoes in large chunks, and saute them in oil in a covered sauce pan.  She would then sprinkle salt and garlic powder on the them and cook them until they started to brown and soften.  Then, she would add the paprika and toss gently to coat them.  I make this often for my family.  Strangly, my mother has commented on my potatoes and swears I make them better.  I beg to differ.  But it's sure nice to know that she believes she raised someone that can cook as good as she does.
