I would recommend a good self defense course (martial arts) in order to be able to defend yourself and stay in shape. I personally have studied Krav Maga, and that is my recommendation. it not only teaches disabling tactics of would be assasins, but teaches many other aspects of self defense, including being aware of your surroundings at all times. Krav Maga, also know as Israeli Street Fighting, supports teachings in order to defend yourself against multiple attackers. It incorporates some Ju Juistsu, karate, judo and wrestling. many of the fighters for tv today for full contact (MMA) have been trained in Krav. It is definitely worth the look! I love it and have competed gainst young men much younger than I. I have yet to submit in a bout.....the young guys don't have the experience us old guys do! lol.
