No Lights At Halloween NightSometimes things click. I might have thought about being in a graveyard at night before. Maybe I thought about it for a thousand times. It is one of those things you don't do. You think about them but you would never acutally do it. But then life kicks in. A friend asked us to bring something to a grave for her. It figured the only time left was at night, right away, as we were more than busy with moving into another city.
We parked the car outside in the little parking lot. We look at each other and start laughing. "Would you have thought they have no lights... On halloween night?" No, not at all.
We have to get through the big park-like place. More than one time my heart is close to stop beating. It is so foggy and there are others who obviously wanted to bring things, too. I almost bump into a mother and her little daughter. Both have to recover, just like me. We all start to laugh. It is a little like trick or treat for those who are brave enough to be here tonight.
Before long we are back in the car. He is smiling his magic smile. Moving at halloween is not good. That we had business turned out to be great.
