Not New To Baking Cakes

I've baked cakes since I was 12 or 13. Baked pound cakes, chocolate cake, pineapple upside down, fruit cake, and many others since. Don't use cake mix much like the scratch. My fruit cake is to die for. There is just enouth cake in my fruit cake to fold the fruit in place. The liter of bourbon I use while aging the cake doesn't hurt either.
I am new to cake decorating. Will be making a white cake, going for 4 layers with white fondant icing, will make my own fondant. Not sure of my fillings; one will be almond praline made with  1/2&1/2. Maybe make a cherry glaze for the second and white chcolate tinted pink for the third. The white fondant will be covered with red, white and green fondant cut outs.
