I Like to Break the Rules Sometimes
It seems like new rules or laws are created all the time. Many under the premise of protecting the masses....But aren't some of them more like taking away our personal choices?
Like the seatbelt law...I just don't understand why it is anyones business but my own if I wear my seatbelt... I do mind you, but why am I breaking the law if I don't? Am I hurting someone when I don't? I know - it's proven to prevent fatalities and injury...I know. I get it. I wear mine all the time, and I make my kids where theirs...and anyone who is in my car - I make them wear one too...
When did it become the polices business, or yours for that matter, to know if I wear my seatbelt or not?
One day, we will wake up and go about our normal routine, and before we get to work that day we will be criminals for doing something that we have always done....if they keep making more and more rules/laws.
