The Hurrier I Go, The Behinder I Get.

This quote has been a favorite in my family since I was a kid. It was written by Lewis Carroll in "Alice in Wonderland". My mother used to say it all the time but it wasn't until I got older that I understood what she meant. Now that I am older than she was when I first remember her saying it I realize that when I get in a hurry I tend to get scattered in my thought process and so I get less accomplished. This is now what I understand about what "the hurrier I go, the behinder I get" means, the faster I try to get too many things done results in less getting accomplished than by going about things at a normal pace. Sometimes we do get smarter with age!
