So true... And the best thing about them is that, by taking a few moments to read a favorite quote or two, we can remind ourselves of something good in ourselves, or something that we want to become. There are very few things better for self betterment than a journal of favorite quotes.

I really glad so many people like these! Quotes are just made for sharing. When you share a quote that really speaks to you, it's like revealing a little corner of your heart. For me, some of these have actually become what might be called life-mottos, and some of them are very special to me, so it's wonderful to know that they touch something in other people, too.
The ability of quotes to describe a part of someone's soul in a few words might be why they're so addicting. No matter how many I collect, I'm always on the lookout for more. So if anyone else has any favorite quotes, I'd be thrilled to hear them.

Great quotes there....I like the one bout how courage is the mastery of fear not the absence of it....
