I Used To Hate Cooking

Before I discovered the joy of cooking, I used to hate the activity. I didn't like preparing ingredients. I didn't like chopping and slicing. I hated guarding and waiting for the food to be cooked. I used to think that if ever I were to marry, it should be to a guy who can and likes to cook, otherwise I'd end up a miserable woman who will not experience home-cooked food after separating from her parents.

Last month is very special to me because I learned how to cook. I realized that no matter how messy it is to chop and slice, no matter how tiresome it can be, cooking is one activity that leaves one fulfilled when people remark how delicious the food is.
