The thought of preparing meals intrigues me in that there are so many variations on a theme and no one correct method. It's all down to personal taste so these bumptious food critics can shove their opinions where the sun don't shine! Recipes are only guide lines to an end, use your imagination with a recipe and if there is a particular ingredient you don't like use something else. There are no patents in cooking although some chefs would like you to think there is. So get in the kitchen and experiment --- it's fun with two as well!!!
