Look At This Mess, I Must Like to Cook !!!

I'm from the old school of cooking, No School...LOL

Boy, I must Really like to cook!!!

with the weather changing , I'd thought like the church lady today, I'd attempt
one of my fall favorites again Pot roast, ."Isn't that special !!!"
I really must like to cook because it takes me almost as long to clean up, as it does to prepare this easy
meal.
I look around and I have flour on all my counters, floor, hair and hands.
Seasoning sporadically mixed in,
I have EVO splatters all over the stove and clothes from browin'.
utensil everywhere, I don't even remembering using some!
too numerous to mention Pans...
And enough wet paper towels,litterin' the tops and sink as if I cut off my fingers... HeHeHe
 
So Ok here it is My Favorite pot roast

3-4 lbs boneless chuck roast
season
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp  pepper

1/2 cup flour * If your like me ,just throw it on till all sides are covered

Heat 1/4 cup of Olive oil in deep dutch oven. * Me I use what ever I got that's deep enough..

brown on all sides...

remove from heat

pour 1/4 cup red wine vinegar over
add 1 can of beef broth.. * Me, I use French onion soup from progresso
Slice 1/2 onion apply to top as garnish
place into 275 degree oven covered for 2 1/2 hours
I check it every 15 mins and basted

Remove add:
 Several large potatoes, chopped bite size
 Several stalks of celery, Also chopped bite size
 several carrots chopped bites size  * me I like the little bagged carrots 1/2 bag HMMMmmmm.
2 bay leafs
 
if need be at this time add water to bring to cover vegetables
raise temp to 325 and cook covered an additional 40 Min's.

Lets stand strain off juice and make a great gravy HMmmmmmm. Now what to do with all
these pans .....;)

hmmm, i'll wash it if you'll cook this for me!!! i'm just hungry, lunch time. thanks for the recipe, i'll have to try it one day.
