A Nice Way To Spend An Evening......

I was always encouraged to cook by my mother after about the age of 6 or 7.  She felt it important that I knew how to do this basically so I would always be able to take care of my self.  It was not until later in my life that I really discovered that cooking is just not for sustaining nutrition but really can be very therapeutic as well.  I have tried to learn as much as I can and find the time spent prepping and cooking is really relaxing.  So from the lessons of childhood to the practicality of adult life, cooking has been a great way to push away the cares of the day (I know- corny!) and just enjoy the process.  Besides, it makes the wife happy that she does not have to do it and gets to benefit too.  Thanks, Mom!
