Discussion Is the Best Form of Learning

I really like to debate. To discuss with someone about something either of us holds dear, or to use it as a learning opportunity if I really don't understand the allure of a certain position. Value debate is fun as long as you don't get bogged down in real world examples, political debate is fun as long as you don't fall into the trap of labeling your self or the person you are discussing with.

Debating the merits of pumps vs **** me boots may be great fun with your friends at the local bar, but in the real world, business decisions can be great debates. how prepared are you to discuss the impact of your recommendations, have you thought things through, what will you say to the inevitable "yeah but"s that come along.
