In A Haze Of Smoke

Sometimes, I just want to lay there and not think. Sometimes I do it through meditation. Unfortunately, resurfacing from meditation makes the world more real than it was before. Sometimes it's best to roll one, inhale, relax, and let my mind just drift away. When it eventually does come back, it's like I wiped the board clean, and unfortunately, inevitably start over in a softer, smoother, lighter mode, like I've been rebooted almost.

Yeah, gotta reboot every now and then or I'll crash!

I used to think too much years ago. I also meditate. What helps me a lot is just thinking or being present in the 'now' - not thinking of whats gone or whats ahead of me, just enjoying the now. I found this really difficult at first, but now it really comes easy. Whats to be is to be, so just enjoy the now and your surroundings. The more you do it the easier it becomes ... well it did for me.
