And here I thought the Ziplock bag trick would cause a backlash of "what an immature kid" reactions from this group! (rofl)



Another thing we did as kids was to get a plastic bottle (like a 2 liter pop bottle) ..fill it with dry ice ..screw it tight ....and toss it into a dumpster near a crowded bus stop. Then we'd all sit on the benches like the other bored travelers. We'd all be "minding our own business" when all of a sudden BAM(!!) ...the bottle would burst. It was hard maintaining a straight face while the other travelers jump and all say "what the heck was that?". :)

YOu mean freon that was put in older air conditioners and fridges? Hey, I can come up with that! Bring the ziplocks and plastics, and we'll make our own "poison party"! :D hehehe

I think I wanna try that! It's almost impossible getting freon nowadays. It's been replaced with some other gas...but all the more, I wanna try the ziplock bag trick!

I believe (per earlier posts) that what's "in" the bubbles is some kind of chlorofluorocarbon ...you know, "freon" ...and "that's" why the deal about the ozone layer.........



Another great thing I like to do is to fill ziplock bags with freon from a freeze-it can, seal it, then whip it across the room. All the spinning of the bag while it's being tossed causes the freon to turn to gas ...it expands in the bag ....and BAM(!!) the bag bursts. Of course, all the other "adults" in the room give me this "what an immature kid" glare! lol

Has anyone noticed that parcels these days are filled with big plastic bubbles or brown wrapping paper instead of bubble wrap? Now if I see any from a parcel, I hoard it!

I love it too ... but someone told me that you shouldn't do it because when you pop the bubbles it releases harmful ozone into the atmosphere! and I believed them ... gullible? moi?
