It All Started When I Was Little..

I never went to preschool. The first time I told someone that, it was 2nd grade, they gasped and said, "You have to go to preschool to learn to share!" But anyway, I didn't go. My mom taught me things at home. Basic things, like shapes and colors and how to read and simple math and stuff like that. Reading must have really agreed with me, 'cause mom said by the time I was 3 or 4 I could read my then favorite book (Dragon in a Wagon!) All by myself. =) I remember I had this set of books about Disney characters that were pretty cool. And any time I was told to clean my room I'd usually end up finding a book buried somewhere and sitting down to read that. I've had many books taken away like that. When the Harry Potter books had taken off, I was in 3rd grade when the 3rd one came out. I had been so mad because the teacher reserved the only copy in the elementary library for the second smartest kid in class. (I was the first <.< xD) my brother got me a copy from the big kid's library. When the 7th book came out, I somehow talked my dad into getting it and I stayed up the entire night. I finished it in about 8 hours. Now I've a new favorite author, Tamora Pierce. But, J.K. Rowling is still a fantastic lady. Besides, books are often much better company than people.
