I'm So Happy Cuz Today I've Found My Friends

I don't know when I started this habit of mine. I think I learned it from my dad, who is pretty voracious reader. If he's not talking or watching TV, then he's reading, and he tends to hog the toilet in the morning. But I find myself scarfing down books. Part of it is the fact that I'm fascinated by all sorts of fantasy fluff, and if the writing isn't horrific, then it goes by rather quickly. (And even if it is horrific, I can typically still get through it. I once read the entire Sword of Shannara trilogy in about eight hours, when I should've been sleeping.) I'm also obsessed by science-fiction, and for some strange reason, I love reading about theoretical physics. I guess because it's kind of science-fiction, too. Even though I can't understand a world made up of 10 or 11 dimensions, it's still fun to think about, I guess. The most recent thing I've been working on is the entire History of Middle Earth series, which is a compilation of J.R.R. Tolkien's unpublished notes put together and anlayzed by his son Christopher. It covers the entire legendarium, from creation and through the first three ages of Middle Earth's fictional history. If you can't tell, I'm a big J.R.R. Tolkien fiend. Although, strangely, I've only really watched the movies once or twice.
