Always Been A Bookworm

From the time I started to learn to read, I have always been a bookworm. I would take a book with me wherever I went and try to sneak in reading a chapter or two whenever I could. As a kid, I was a huge BabySitter's Club, Sweet Valley High, Fear Street and Goosebumps fan. Now as an adult, I have grown to love Nicholas Sparks, Mitch Albom, Chicken Soup for the Soul books, Karen Kingsbury and grown fond of reading my holy bible as well. The bookworm in me never changed over the years, and I love having a book in my hand, and flowing through the pages. I can't see me ever wanting to trade in or upgrade to having a Kindle, nothing like the real thing!

I have always been keen on reading. At the moment, I am reading more but due to working long hours and being in a job where I rarely have a moment to read- I don't get through many books a year and feel somewhat frustrated. Especially when I have considered speed reading courses to help me maximise the time I read and getting pretty much nowhere with them.

Anyways, I love reading. I am into streamline things- Stephen King and at the moment am reading the hobbit for about the tenth or eleventh time. I, on the other hand, do use a kindle and although at first found it quite difficult to get used to, now find it the same as reading a normal book. Must admit though, that I love the feel of a real book in my hands.

Good hearing from ya.

I can't forget the Babysitters club and Sweet Valley Twins phase.
