I am reading Antony Beevor's new book on the Second World War. He is by far one of my favorite authors. Years ago, on a long business trip to Kazakhstan off all places, I devoured his book Stalingrad, and have been a fan ever since.

I love to read history, and steal any moment I can to curl up with a good book.

Ok, back to it.

    Yeah, Stalingrad was an amazing read. What's his new book like?

      Its an excellent, quick reading survey history of WWII. I like it a lot. There's quite a bit of discussion of French politics and a few good dashes of Spanish Civil War references, but I'd expect that of Mr. Beevor after his previous books.
