I Like to Read

I love to read but I often find it hard find anyone to talk to about the books I read. I don't normally read the popular books or many best sellers. I like a weird variety of books. I'm not the fastest reader and I often read more than one book at a time so it takes me awhile to get through books. Plus I have two kids (2months and 2yrs) and a job that requires a lot of over time.Needless to say I don't get to read as much as I would like to. I would really like to talk to other people about some zombie books and the sookie Stackhouse novels. I don't really have any friends that read much so I can't share my enthusiasm after I finish a book I really enjoy. It's kind of depressing actually. At least it hasn't stopping me from reading what I enjoy! I'm sure someday I'll find someone who understands my "weirdness" :)

    Do you read any non-fiction or do you prefer novels?

      I read both actually. It depends on my mood. If I'm wondering about something I'll read a non fiction and if I'm just in the mood to relax my mind I'll read a novel. I am entertained with how to books and self help also. A lot of times I'm reading a novel along with some type of non fiction during the same time.

      That sounds good. I tend to go for factual stuff but do read the ocassional novel.

      I don't really have particular favorites but I like to read history, biographies and current affairs / reportage mainly.
