I Like to Read
I ban myself from the library and bookstores when I know I have a midterm/final coming up because I know that I will ignore all my studies once I plop down with a good book.
I'm also a fast reader so whenever I go to the library I like to pick up 25+ books (which...I always get stares at by the librarians...)
TWO OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS:
1. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier - I don't know how many of you have read it but I had to read it for a high school english class and it just became my favorite. You never know the protagonist's real name or age which lends to the mystery of the plot. The writing is amazing with vivid imagery and it is a thriller. Romance thriller (I'm a romance junkie...)
2. The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams -- I know. It's not really a book. But I love Laura's character. Laura just makes me want to hug her and slap her at the same time...
But other than that, I really love paranormal romances! Of course...those books are usually part of a really long series which will drive me crazy...
