Non Fiction

Is that true? Did that really happen?

I love to read. I love Kurt Vonnegut Jr., William S. Burroughs, Hubert Selby Jr., Piers Anthony and a couple of other fiction writers, but not many. I prefer to read non fiction and often find myself reading reference books.

I have read a lot of self-help books, books on various religions, addictions, abuse, magic, metaphysics, psychology, etc. My favorite books are found in the True Crime section. I love reading true crime.

When I was in high school I wrote a research paper on serial killers. My mother was mortified and had convinced herself that I wanted to be a serial killer. She begged me not to turn in the paper as she was sure someone would have me committed. I did turn in the paper, my teacher gave me an A+ and advanced me to "Honors English". I owe it all to serial killers.

Tech manuals. I like tech manual. Less since I don't do much tech work anymore. Vonnegut is cool. I've been diving into 19th century English lit lately.

Good for you! I understand about the tech manuals. My bro in-law reads them too.

Tech manuals are alright I guess but history books are the most interesting.

LOL. Those serial killers got you into Honors class. Nonfiction is so much more interesting than fiction in my opinion.

Me too :)
