I Adore Reading

I adore reading, I think its the getting lost part, when I was little I would try to read at the table but my mum said it was a no no, so I would read the cereal box or anything else instead.

I would be lost without books, my dad used to bring me books home as presents as they were my favourite gifts.

He made good choices bless him, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien and the Wind in the willows were some of the books he brought me home.

My all time favourite is one he bought for me, The Valley of Horses by Jean M Auel :D, its hardly a literary classic but it has been my favourite book for over 20 years!

I read cereal boxes too. I think the act of reading (seperate from the meaning of the words) is sort of like a meditation excercise...shelf reading at the library works really well for that.<br />
And classic? Mark Twain said they're the books that everyone talks about but nobody reads!
