I Love to Read

I love reading stories about people: how they adapt, how they change, how they love and despise one another.  I love family stories, esp. dysfunctional families.  I love women writers.  Margaret Atwood, Joyce Carol Oates and Toni Morrison are some of my favorites.  I just finished "Reading Lolita in Tehran."  My favorite book of all time is "Beloved" by Toni Morrison.   Ahhh, and "The Hours" by Michael Cunningham -- wonderful!  Oh, and let me add:  "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy.  Mmmmm.

Try the novels of the British author Sarah Waters... I'll bet you find them wonderful!!!!

I love to read as well but I read mostly Non-fiction.

You might enjoy Mauve Binchy books. She writes about family a lot. She is Irish and I have read several of her books. Very good.
