A Different Kind Of Love

She cast her fragrance and her radiance over me. I ought never to have run away from her; I ought to have guessed all the affection that lay behind her. But I was too young then to know how to love her.  Sometimes I forget that I must endure the presence of caterpillars if I wish to meet the butterflies.
