Rainy Streets

This morning (Sunday 20th January) I dressed for my run, not for the cold, but for comfort as I covered the distance I decided on. I planned my route before going out. I pulled on my blue boyshorts, blue cotton short ankle socks, my green cotton tee shirt under my dark green Nike waterproof jacket, and I added my favourite Adidas running shoes.

I started out along rue Arsene d'Arsonval, onto rue du Tour de France, out onto avenue Georges Guynemer, onto boulevard Anatole France. I continued along this to join boulevard Jean Bourrat, running alongside the Jardin Public. Rue Jean Baptiste Moliere, through the place JB Moliere, onto rue Francois Rabelais, to rue de l'Academie, down to rue de l'Anguille, rue Jean Bertrand to rue Fontneuve, near to the Museum. At the rue Cote des Carmes I turned again so I could turn down rue Jean Vielledent, to link up with rue Rene Waldeck-Rousseau, rue du Tour de France, and home again along rue Arsene d'Arsonval.

It was a good distance, a good run, and I was happy when I got back to Marguerite's and a warm shower.
