Truth, Love, Lies - Labels

Humans label everything. We have to, in our mind, we need to keep everything in boxes, to categorise them, we can't just let be.

Is there such a thing as truth, or lies?

Is there such a feeling as love, or hate?

Can we truly tell people that they are happy or sad?

Why do we need a label stamped on everything?

Can we not be truly happy - see labeling - with letting everything unfold around us - come what may, and hope for the best.

I think the only real thing is hope, but another conundrum arises there, is hope not love?

I always see hope as being connected to love, but then what is life without love?

Love for our children, our family, our spouse.

Our best chance for survival is to just Carpe Diem - seize the day - and hope for the best.

That's all we can do isn't it?

I was yesterday watching a documentary about a American video artistic called Bill Viola about the opposite poles, such as love and hate, happy and sad, etc.. He has study for a long time the oriental philosophy and he always come up saying similar points in interviews, and one of the things that he said and I agree with, seeing by my own experience, is the theory of the yin yang. That in order to experience happiness, you have to have experienced sadness to be able to make a distinguished analysis. But yes, it`s true, we have always to classify things and comment about everything in around us, but I think it can be also fascinating if you think we are on a journey, in the search of the sef related to one`s community and vice versa...<br />
