I believe you are actually intending to memorialize 9/11/01.

Not sure what you a mean. But having looked out and taken that picture myself, I can but only imagine the desperation and despair some people must have felt if they thought jumping a 1,000 feet was their only option...

The post says it intends this as a memory and includes the date 7/11/01 but nothing happened on that date. The World Trade Center attack was on 9/11/01. I just thought you might want to get the date right, that's all.

I didn't even think about the possibility of the European date format. What I intended was the 11th day of the 9th month in the year 2001. So in Europe that might be written 11/09/2014 but in the US that is generally written 09/11/2001. I only mention this because you wrote about the 7th which would appear to be the day number.

No - I was used the wrong day number, as mentioned 7/7/2005 was a very near miss for me as at the very last minute I decided to drive instead of using the pre-purchased ticket for the train and underground.
