I Like To Write Poetry
I've never felt mutual love , only mutual lust, hate, anguish and mutual despair.
Lost inside this sea of strange feelings, and I don't know where... Or if this is even fair.
No longer struggling, letting the waves take me--No one to save my soul, or hold my hand, to float together.
Cursed to forever float aimlessly against stormy waves, and brooding weather.
'Till you found me and, with a strange mixture of pity, and liking,
Cast me down white rays of bright sunbeams,
In their sheer beauty causing, my dull, unaccustomed eyes to completely lose their sight.
Yet, I could see, through my heart, a beautiful light.
And when you spoke to me, so kind, and thoughtfully, your words so caring,
I must admit, I seem to have managed to have lost my hearing.
But I don't need it anymore, as, from the bottom my soul, I could hear the angels sing.
And I felt, that, it would be bliss, if you could just hold me like this forever, in the Eden that is your wings.
