The smell of a cake in the oven,
The smell of a new varnished shed.
The smell from a bottle of perfume,
The smell memories rife in my head.

The smell of a freshly mown field,
The smell of a newly changed bed.
The smell of a prickly rosebush,
The smell memories rife in my head.

The smell of my school up my nostrils,
The smell of my favourite ted.
The smell of my casserole stewing,
The smell memories rife in my head.

The smell of my dad’s musty slippers,
The smell of my brother’s sweaty head.
The smell of his putrid, grey school socks,
I WISH MY SMELL MEMORIES WERE DEAD!
