Changing Seasons

Warm days, cool nights brings harvesting and festivities; cider, spiced donuts, orange pumpkins made into jack-o-laterns. Breaths are seen in the laughter from mouths of partakers having fun; dunking for apples, hayrides, bonfires, hot chocolate in hand. The changing colors will soon drop from trees, floating, and spinning downward becoming the earth.

The bare branches reveal nested homes of it's inhabitants as the sun slips into it's wintry domain. Blusteringly winds, grey skies, shorter days and longer nights become the norm. With snow blanketing the earth; streams and rivers are stilled as they ice over. Cold days and colder nights brings snuggles under woolen throws, fireplaces a blazing, and hot toddies for inner warmth.

Changing seasons; sun will embark it's warm glittering rays upon the Northern Hemisphere once again. The earth thaws, spring's beauty emerges from their winter homes, and the streams and rivers flow. The sheltered inhabitants shed their coats and woolen throws; scampering, fluttering, or taking flight; feeding, breeding, and creating life.
