A Diverse Actor I've Come To Enjoy Watching

It will probably come as a shock and horror to those who actually follow this talented actor's career, but I have seen neither The DaVinci Code or Angels and Demons.  While I acknowledge how good an actor I think Tom Hanks is, I never actually followed his career.  It's only because many of the movies he's been in have been so good that I've managed to see quite a few of them over the years.

I have watched eleven of his films in total.  In no particular order, they are:  Castaway, Catch Me If You Can, Driving Miss Daisy, Apollo 13, Charlie Wilson’s War, Road to Perdition, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, Philadelphia, and Dragnet.  It's impossible for me to say which one of these I like the most, or which one I think he did his best performance in.  In some of these movies, like Driving Miss Daisy and even The Green Mile, his role was a bit understated, whereas he's the core character in many of the others.

In any case, I've come to admire his ability to portray so many different roles, and to devote himself so completely to the characters he portrays.
