Loss Of Parents, Vibrant Colors And Organization

These things are a Wes Anderson film to me. Except maybe Bottle Rocket, but then again I don't recall, its been a long time since I've seen it. Anyway, I love his films and it could be for just these three reasons. Everything is so orderly and organized in an interesting way. The colors are always alive and somewhat surreal or otherworldly. Then there is the loss of parents and how it affects the children. Darjeeling Limited might be the most obvious, the father is dead and the mother absent. The whole movie is about how it has affected the 3 young men.

Its hard to pick a favorite film, but I recall seeing the Royal Tenenbaums in the theater and laughing my *** off!
