I Like White Wine

Some of the ebst white wine comes from Alsace  and at Riquewer there us a great wine maker called Hugel.Almost thebest is Gewurtztraminer  which is spicy and not too sweet.
i alos posses byt hardly dare open two very good Bottles of Sauternes which are 40 years old and just reaching thier peak but was they are both  worth at least £200 it seems a pity to drink them I might sell them and buy lots of Gewurzraminer!

    I lived in Zuirch, Switzerland for a while and would visit Alsace many times. Great little bistro's too.

    I fully share your admiration for Alsatian wine, and have driven several times through the Alsatian countryside, which has long hot summers. Alsace is a splendid hybrid of French and south German culture. Superb Alsatian wines are not necessarily all that expensive either.
