reative Mediasource on my computer has a play list for every conceivable mood I could ever be in. For when I'm feeling sad, I listen to more upbeat, poppy rock to try to counteract the negative feelings. My sad playlist includes certain songs by Weezer, Muse, Guster, Death From Above 1979, Days Away, etc.
When I'm anxious, I stick with soothing singer/songwriters like Damien Rice, some Brandi Carlile and Fiona Apple songs, Bright Eyes.
When I'm angry, I go with harder rock to get my aggression out. Between the Buried and Me is wonderful for that. I also go for Saetia, some Blood Brothers, and Glassjaw when I'm pissed.

  | Posted Sep 23rd, 2007 at 10:29PM I do the exact same thing but instead of actually listen to upbeat music when I'm sad I tend to listen to more of the softer stuff. Hard Rock is definitely a pissed off mood though.   |
