On This Day One Year Ago...

We lost him to a car accident late at night in Tokyo's Minato ward. His music touched the lives of fans worldwide, and was well known in the underground hip hop scene for his peaceful, jazz-melodic production. Being a man that avoided the public eye, he gave few interviews, letting his music speak for him. It was always a beautiful message that transcended language.

Personally, his music helped me through some of the loneliest and toughest times of my life, and for that I'm thankful.
