I Listen to the Same Song Over and Over
I am the worlds biggest offender at listening to the same songs over and over. LOUDLY. Here are some of my faves....I can listen to "Losing My Religion" for days....."Dust In The Wind" "Hotel California" several of Enigma's songs make me dance wildly....(in the spirit) There is also Natalie Merchant....anything, especially the sensual "Carnival" I am not fan of new country music but give me George Jones and I'll drive you mad with "He Stopped Loving Her Today" or anything by Don Williams, or Emmy Lou Harris "One of These Days" When I get on a roll it can go on forever....."Bridge Over Troubled Waters" or "Sounds of Silence" make me dreamy and move me to fits of emotion. I love MacArthur's Park by several different artists....Donna Summer, don't even go there....."I'm SO Excited" makes me drive fast, and the theme to Top Gun almost got me killed once, I seriously drove into a danger zone on a curvy country road, I crossed the railroad tracks in my rag top candy apple red Stingray..... airborne! I did not crash, but, I could have....The music was blaring and I kept screaming over the music to my friend....."We're going to die, but, it's soooooo fun! (actually, she was driving and I was screaming "We're going to die, go faster....it's sooooo much fun!")
It's been a long time since the Stingray! However, even at 52 I cannot drive my HHR with Danger Zone playing again and again, it isn't safe for the general public....especially not with the baby in the baby seat.....behind his Granny.
